Grew up in a small town in (east?) Texas. Lived in Houston TX in the 1980s. Husband was a contractor. Gorgeous cheerful lovely girl, with masses of long thick wavy almost blond hair. Yes I have searched the usual ways, but haven't had any luck. Browsing this forum made me think, oh why not, someone might know her. She'd be early 60s now I think, she was the same age as I am. Maybe 59 years-61 years.

We knew each other in that mad time when Houston was the Boom Town. Even after I moved back to the northeast, we stayed in touch and I even flew down and visited her once, around 1986, she was massively pregnant with twins at the time.

I don't remember when we stopped keeping in touch. I had a serious illness shortly after that visit and that's probably when I kind of forgot about her for a while, and when I next thought of her, I couldn't find her.

Would you know her husband's first name and an address and a date in time when that address was accurate?

I finally found some information. I knew I had some bits and pieces somewhere and this morning for some reason I remembered I had started this thread so long ago, and oddly enough as I looked the thread up, I suddenly knew right where to look for my old address book.

Her husband's name was Bobby, (or possibly Bob or Robert, professionally). And the address I have is probably from 1982:
216 Asbury
Houston Tx 77007
713-862-2359

You've got her name, her husband's name, an age range and a previous address. Go to truepeoplesearch.com and enter her name and city/state (even if it's old.) Use the age filter if it's available to narrow the hits down. Then search through the hits for a "possible relative" named Bob/Robert and/or the old address that you have. This seems like a pretty simple search to me.

I have their current address. Would you want me to post it here on the forum?
I used an older site than true people and was fortunate and you have to be somewhat on an address from 40+ years ago.

Wow, that's great, thank you! Could you DM me the information? I think I'm a little in shock!

Sure and if she will be happy to hear from you then forge ahead with a letter.
If you need a phone number or email maybe others here have a good site for that.
