Hiding your ownership is not being dishonest. That's naive thinking,
The public & weirdos don't need to know the addresses of Taylor Swift's homes or any relatives of a billionaire who can be kidnapped for ransom. Information in a criminal mind can be deadly.

There is one state, NM, that does allows your LLC to remain private from the public but probably not the FBI or govt agencies.
There's at least one bank we work with that will hide your personal name from the transaction through an LLC or layered entities. They do it for celebrity and high net worth people all the time. Yet TMZ still has a way to find out and if they get this info, I presume sophisticated lawyers can too.
