I've been applying for jobs online on and off in the last few years, and I've had it with employers who use the Workday online application form. it does a good job of parsing my employment information from my resume, but that's as far as it goes. The main problem is when you're entering you're education history and you get to the field for entering your major or the subject you studied, it usually only gives you a short list of subjects that only goes up to the beginning of the letter D, and you CAN'T put in your own text entry and there's no OTHER option. I usually have to just leave these fields blank, but the last one I filled out, it wouldn't accept a blank answer, so I had to put in inaccurate values for both my majors AND the type of certification I have.
Are there any HR people out there reading this that use Workday? I'd like to know of you're aware of these flaws and if you look and your applicants' resumes in addition to the applications you're getting. If you're only looking at the applications, you're either seeing applications with information that's either missing or WRONG due to no fault of the applicants they're coming from.
