Its good to see MU getting with the program. The much needed parking garage is also welcomed but I think MU needs to have plans already in motion to buy some other adjoining property and have another parking garage completed in the next 2 to 3 years. The one new parking garage will not be enough.
Also, 5th avenue needs at least one pedestrian bridge.
They need a new parking garage on the corner of 3rd Ave and 16th Street. This would help with new developments in that area and help to cover up Steel of WV.
Isn't there a billboard in the parking lot of 3rd avenue and Hal Greer, across from Black Sheep, promoting some new commercial development for that block?
Yep. I was referring to the corner across from there that is currently a parking lot. Having a garage there like the ones at Pullman Square would help any businesses in that area by improving accessibility. Blocking the view of Steel of WV would be an additional benefit.
