Default Are you sure?

I thought the location of this studio has not been revealed. It could possibly be in Houston or even Shreveport where G-Unit is based.

Looks like it's in Shreveport. But all the talent in houston won't have to leave for ATL or LA

I think houston should invest in film and TV production. It's already a talent rich city. Turn the astrodome into a huge movie studio.

I always thought they should either turn the Astrodome into a giant Casino/Entertainment facility or a stdio for TV/Film.

The span is great enough to build in large sets.

Default Studios in Texas

There are already 3 large studio projects planned for Texas. 2 are in Central Texas and 1 in North Texas. I'm not sure why none are planned in the Houston area. There is already a lot of film production activity here.

If Shreveport is the final choice then that'll be good news for their economy.

Looks like 50 cent is building a film studio in Houston after all

Edit: seems the chronicle made a mistake. There is a film studio underway on the 2800 Fondren block but 50 Cent’s involvement is unconfirmed

Edit2: ok, now I see the connection. The developer behind the project was also on the team that developed the studio in Shreveport

Turn the Astrodome into a Giant Movie Studio!

Imagine the sets with the huge indoor space under the dome.
