Back story, my grandsons (9 and 7) each have a favorite "lovey" stuffed animal they've had since they were small. They used to carry them everywhere, but now that they're older they stay on their beds and they just sleep with them. Oldest has a stuffed dolphin called "Whale". Youngest has a round stuffed sheep, "Lamby". One night at bedtime, oldest GS hid "Lamby" and told youngest GS that Lamby "died". Youngest knew Lamby couldn't "die" (he's not real), but he was still upset he couldn't find him. I searched and found Lamby, and everything was fine. Until the next night...

Oldest GS couldn't find "Whale" because youngest GS hid him. Payback. He told his brother that "Whale" was in the "septic tank, because he got flushed down the toilet". I don't know if oldest bought it, but he DID go outside in their yard to look at the septic tank...even though Whale would have been way too big to flush.

I had a little trick or treater the other night wearing a long blue gown and a crown. Maybe 4 years old? I said “Ooo, are you a Princess?” She said, “ I’m a Queen!”
I said to her, “oh, I thought you were the Frozen princess.”
She says over her shoulder as she’s walking away, “I’m not Frozen, I’m a Queen.”
The girl has goals!
