If we're splitting up in subgroups, then I would say that lower Bergen County, New Jersey is the East Coast "mecca" for the Korean community and overall rivals that of the Los Angeles area. Palisades Park is probably the only majority Korean municipality in the US and that's immediately adjacent to a bunch of other municipalities that are plurality or have a large proportion of Koreans. It's probably why so many of the Korean chaebols have their US headquarters there like Samsung and LG. Korean-American grocery chain H Mart is also headquartered in Lyndhurst, Bergen County. Again though, it's odd to divide New Jersey out from NYC given the other ones are mostly metropolitan areas as there's a lot of back and forth among the different enclaves. For example, the original H Mart was actually in Woodside Queens before moving its HQ out to Bergen County.
The DC area one is sort of funny in that it's particularly tied up in the Unification Church and its offshoots though the NYC area ones have that as well.
A lot of Koreans from Bergen County, Chicago, and the midwest have moved to Atlanta. The areas of Duluth, Suwanee, Johns Creek, and Doraville have some of the best Korean food in the nation and there's KIA, SK Battery, Hyundai, and other Korean factories in Georgia now.
Duluth:
Suwanee:
The Chinese/Taiwanese/Vietnamese population is also rapidly growing. I believe the largest Chinese supermarket in the nation is in Duluth (largest out of all GW Supermarkets). I also believe the largest Korean supermarket is in Duluth (Megamart which is like the size of two Super H Marts combined):

Yea, it's pretty neat. I think the last census count, Atlanta metropolitan area's Korean population was the 9th largest in the US, and 5th largest on the East Coast, so it's quite large. Is there a sort of downtown area of sorts or is it mostly very suburban and parking lots and big box stores?

These are Eastern Seaboard cities by Urban Area, MSA, and CSA, I've been digging through the older threads and cannot find these by city proper, but anyone is welcome to post here:

Since they're in the suburbs it's entire shopping plazas (buildings worth $50 million or so):
A former JTBC/MBC news reporter who moved to Atlanta, explaining the benefits of Atlanta to Koreans:
There are over 500 Korean churches in the area.
The first thing Koreans from LA and the northeast or Chicago say when they see these places is, "Wow, I didn't know Atlanta had so many Korean options," and the second thing is, "It's so clean here."

This does look like the very suburban Korean areas in the LA and NYC metropolitan areas. That one in Suwanee with the open air second floor level reminds me of what I grew up with. I can see how that's an easy move especially if it means at lower price points.

Its the largest after LA, NYC, and the Bay Area. It is the clear winner of this thread unless a distinction is being made on what type of Asian.
