Some guy with a ski mask shot up the area outside of the raylay Chinese place on Wednesday night around 645 pm. I know because it happened directly on the other side of my window. I dont want to "get a slug from a thug."so will avoid this area from now on....

The OP lives in Coulwood so my assumption would be the Rai Lay Asian Bistro at Mt Holly-Huntersville Road in Northwest Charlotte's Riverbend development.
Nobody apparently contacted police about the ski mask shooter as there are no reported crimes in that area in the CMPD database for the last 7 days other than a suspicious vehicle at the Walmart across the street.
It was the mt holly one,,Everyone in the restaurant hit the floor.I dont know who was shooting at who or what .He ran right beside the window we were at shooting as he ran away,,The place was flooded with cops and a firetruck in less than 5 minutes. The news media heard about it but could not get a copy of any police report in order to run the story.
