I live up at the lake and only go into town (central Charlotte) between 9:30 and 2:30 if possible. At that time, it normally flows smoothly except for the bottlenecks at the #25 and #23 ramps.
I saw they are putting in a roundabout at #23.

That is a very confusing area, and something needs to be done. I don't know where or how they will do that. The problem there seems to be on Jetton Road above I-77. The other issue is exit 25. It can be a mess. In either case, I can't see where they would install roundabouts. They could help though We need rail.

I just moved right near #25 and will vouch it is a whole mess. Hell getting out of my complex to the on ramp is very challenging.

I live in the lake area. From here, it is about 6:1o-9:15 and 3:00-6:30 depending on factors like wrecks, etc.

I took a new job and am back in the office three days a week. I've found that leaving right before 7 is my sweet spot for 485/77 S, and I'm around the Highland Creek area. I leave Uptown at the latest by 4:30 and I'm home before and right at 5.

What are you talking about? Who said you were the only transplant? What is your point. I'm not disputing you; I just don't know exactly what you're talking about.

Sorry, I was wrong.. There isn't runaway sub-division development that the roadways can't handle...
