Comments:NOTE: An embargo notice was posted a large container (located in suite W12) where the embargoed products (Margaret Holmes mixed greens and turnip greens) are being stored. During our inspection there was a constant flow of products being returned to the facility. Approximately 100 cans were observed in the embargoed container. Establishment personnel stated that they have contacted all of their partners and that they are returning the recalled products back to the food bank. Upon receipt of the items there are being accounted for by establishment personnel and then placed into the embargo container. Establishment personnel was also informed that upon making a decision as to what they would like to do with the products (i.e. discard, return, etc.) they must contact the DC DOH to inform us so that are present to observed the process.
