Pride Mountain Vineyards

The owners of Pride Mountain Vineyards have a goal of helping visitors come away with a better understanding of the winemaking process. The vineyard's use-permit requires advance appointments for their guests. As one would expect, summer and fall weekends book particularly far in advance. Pride Mountain Vineyards is a 235-acre manor with a wooden-beamed, modest-sized winery that combines its mountainous setting and California tradition. They offer guests a delightful and modest tasting room experience with an opportunity to sample the most recent vintages. Knowledgeable staff members are available to help enhance the visit. In order to enhance the visitor's experience the number of guests on one tour is limited to twelve people. The tours begin with a tasting and conversation on general wine producing philosophy. The morning winery tour is something quests find fascinating and informative. Interestingly, the crush pad is bisected by a brick inlay that identifies the line between Napa and Sonoma Counties. Within the caves the rise in humidity and drop in temperature is evident. The underground storage area of over 23,000 square feet twists beneath the hillside and opens onto the terrace overlooking the vineyards and beautiful Napa Valley. The Vineyard also conducts tasting only events for groups of one to twelve quests. The tastings must be arranged in advance.
