Cavallo Point

Cavallo Point is a luxury lodge in the National Park of Sausalito, California. Located on the San Francisco Bay, the kid and dog-friendly lodge provides visitors with a central location to enjoy the attractions of San Francisco along with historic rooms to relax in.

The lodge was named one of the Top 10 New American Landmarks by Travel & Leisure; it is also a Gold Certified eco-resort, a romantic destination and a starting place for adventures in Northern California.

Rooms available at the lodge include guestrooms that have been historically resorted. The buildings were formally officers' residences at Fort Baker which is a former U.S. Army post; the rooms are located on expansive green space which encircles the parade ground and have views of either the hillside or the San Francisco skyline. The two-bedroom suites have been restored to high standards and feature fine amenities along with organic bedding, majority of the guest rooms are dog friendly.

Contemporary Lodging is also available on the hillside above Fort Baker. These rooms combine environmental sensitivity and a modern style. They have been constructed to a high standard of green architecture and each room features a private entrance, cozy gas fireplace, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, bamboo furnishings and many have sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge. All rooms also feature organic linens, flat screen televisions and comfortable chairs, ottomans and throws.

Dining is available at Cavallo Point at Murray Circle Restaurant which serves dishes made with fresh local ingredients and amazing views of the bridge. The dining rooms have been restored with tin ceilings, photography and fireplaces; the restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
