    My son Joseph received wonderful and extremely caring attention in the ICU last week for an infection which nearly took his life and at one point did. He was air lifted to U.C. Davis where he continues to improve however is still in the ICU. His flight was around 1 am and it was very dark out. We are thankful for the miraculous events that gave us the opportunity to be able to transport him, however transporting in the dark of night with only a flashlight seemed to make things more challenging. It was obvious that adequate lighting would have certainly taken one more issue off the already stressful and busy tasks of all involved. I would appreciate your consideration of adding some sort of lighting that would make this event easier for the professionals involved and would think the hospital would benefit from this.
