I am doing research for a book and am trying to locate the date of a windstorm in either May of 1979 or May of 1980. Reportedly in the neighborhood of 100mph gusts causing the crew of the Goodyear Blimp, which was tethered there, to cut is loose. I am not positive about the dates.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
