• The owner of Next Generation Hearing Shoppe is James Reed. Mr. Reed is a Florida licensed hearing aid dispenser who has also achieved Board Certification through the National Board for Certification in  Hearing Instrument Sciences. He retains membership in good standing with the Florida Society of Hearing Healthcare Professionals. Mr. Reed has been a hearing healthcare provider since 1982. Over the years he had his own business in Pennsylvania and worked for several hearing aid providers in Virginia and Florida.   In working for others, Mr. Reed became increasingly disenchanted with the methods used by some and the self-serving corporate mandates which hindered the way he preferred to treat his patients. As a result, he decided the only way he could continue to provide the level of care his patients deserved was to go back into business for himself.   He can now again treat his patients with the integrity, empathy, conscientiousness and personalized service he is known for. The name of the business, Next Generation Hearing Shoppe, was selected to indicate his desire to set a new higher standard of care for the hearing impaired.
