Yes, I lived in this shack. My parents bought this in 1970 for $13,000. We hardly never had to lock our doors. One bathroom. It had no insulation or upstairs heat but a small metal vent at the top of the stairs as typical of the homes built in the 1920s. No storm windows and we froze in the winter. The olive green downstairs gas fireplace was installed 1971. The upstairs stairway entered in back of the kitchen leading to two bedrooms and the stairway in the living room led to the basement. It had an ancient Ranier cherry tree in the front that had the best cherries I have ever had to this day and some idiot cut it down. There were no fences and the back yard was a large chicken coop in the 1930-40s leaving fertile soil for a vegetable garden which always flourished. $400,000 don't make me laugh as it is still only worth $13,000. This is how utterly wild and far-out the real estate market now is.
