Because this is the best store for college students in terms of location and its small size, the selection of items that a very "involved" cook may not be available. The store on Johnson has just about everything a cook=from-scratch person like me wants but it's several blocks further than my home store of Foothill. I really like the manager, Steve, and hope that he is able to keep his position when the store changes ownership. I really love having the Starbucks right in the stores and the staff there is wonderful. Produce is fresh and I have always been able to order the meats that I want if they are not readily available - lamb, for example.
