Description: This lovely 1885 Queen Anne Victorian home is another Mansion Hill beauty and has been an inn since 1997, operated by Jane Denny. Two rooms and a full apartment are available as accommodations. The two rooms share a bathroom and at just around $100 each per night, they make a nice family option. One room has a double bed and the other has two twins and either of them can be rented for a bit extra to make the bathroom private. (The other room remains empty.) The rooms have an assortment of books and artwork, tables with chairs, and flat-screen TVs. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. The 3rd-floor unit is a complete apartment, windows on four sides of the house. The bedroom has a queen bed and a balcony with a table, chairs and umbrella, and a nice view of the Capitol. A turret room features a small library. The kitchen has all supplies needed to fend for oneself including a stove and full-size refrigerator, so breakfast is not included. A futon couch in the living room folds out into an extra bed. The dining room has a table and four chairs and there are two flat-screen TVs in the apartment. WiFi is complimentary to all guests and bicycles are available as well. The wraparound porch is a perch any time of day. The apartment rents for about $600 for a weekend plus $100 for each additional night. The minimum stay for that unit is four nights. Pets are welcome as are children. Free off-street parking is a blessing in such a downtown location. Not wheelchair accessible.
