Each of the three suites and one guest room features a queen-size poster bed with canopy and a private bath complete with comfy terry-cloth robes. Wingback chairs face the oval fireplace in the Williamsburg Suite, while a love seat sits opposite the taller brick fireplace in the Nicholson Suite. The Grand Suite has its own selection of books above the elegant wooden mantel. The Brush Everard Room also offers a curtained canopy bed with chairs and window dressings in matching shades of colonial blue. If you fancy a game of chance before you retire, stop by the “tavern room” for board games. Innkeepers Joan and Art Ricker keep the library stocked with books for leisure reading. Guests also have access to modern amenities, including a TV, an iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. Breakfast by candlelight in the Keeping Room includes homemade baked goods.The Legacy is less than five blocks from the Historic Area. Cars can be parked in private, off-street spaces. This nonsmoking bed-and-breakfast does not allow pets or children younger than 12.
