Description: If you want to go fast, get excited, and let off some steam, this is the place. Also known as Flags of Fun, this 47,000-square-foot fun park is one of the largest indoor racing facilities in the region. There are small go-karts and an arcade area for younger children, but the primary attractions here are for the bigger “kids.” Biz-Karts, high-speed competitive racers built in England, are available for anyone over 16 (although the average age of racers is probably twice that). The indoor urban paintball is open to anyone (kids and parents sign a waiver form), but it’s usually the domain of kids in their 20s and 30s. There are also batting cages, a snack bar, and some small party rooms. Flags and Wheels is open all year. Hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Mon through Sat and noon to 6 p.m. Sun. From Labor Day to Memorial Day hours are Mon through Sat noon to 10 p.m., and noon to 6 p.m. Sun. Prices range from 75 cents for a few pitches in the batting cage to $19.75 for a round of paintball.
