Description: One of Charleston’s newest and most anticipated events, the Charleston Wine + Food Festival delights foodies with the opportunity to indulge in the unique flavors of Lowcountry cuisine in early Mar. Patrons will choose from a wide variety of epicurean events presented by the country’s best chefs, authors, and wine experts. The festival kicks off with a “Salute to Charleston Chefs” on Thurs and ends with a “BBQ, Blues and Brew” finale on Sun afternoon. Friday morning features the opening ceremonies at Marion Square, which are open to the public. Marion Square is also the site of the Culinary Village’s Grand Tasting Tent, which features food, wine, and interactive events from more than 90 vendors.
