Description: Located at the foot of historic Main Street and just a few blocks from the ferry, the Mansion House rose from the ashes of the Tisbury Inn, destroyed by fire in late 2001. Construction finished on the new building during the summer of 2003. Its 32 rooms feature air-conditioning, cable television, telephone, high-speed Internet connections, and refrigerators. Deluxe rooms and suites offer soaking tubs, flat-screen plasma TVs, fireplaces, and balconies with views of Vineyard Sound. Rooms can be converted into suites complete with kitchens to accommodate larger groups. Guests of the Mansion House enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the on-site restaurant, Zephrus. For everyone else, it’s open daily for lunch and dinner (remember to BYOB). The Mansion House also has the Vineyard’s only 75-foot “spring water” indoor pool, as well as its largest health club.
