Description: Chatham’s surrounding islands are home to numerous species of shorebirds, and Beachcomber’s exciting 90-minute cruise is a perfect way to see them. An onboard naturalist will fill you in on these and other creatures living in or near the beautiful Stage Harbor and the Monomoy Island Wildlife Refuge. The list of creatures includes seals too. Tickets are $27 for adults and $23 for children 3 to 15 years old. Children younger than 3 ride for free, and seniors pay $25. Reservations are recommended. Parking is limited at Stage Harbor, so the Beachcomber offers a shuttle from Crowell Road, Chatham. Beachcomber Boats also offers a boat-to-the-beach, a shuttle service between the town fish pier on Shore Drive and Chatham’s outer beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Shuttles leave from the fish pier docks regularly every 15 minutes throughout the day in July and Aug. A round trip shuttle costs $15.
