plus-size woman says she has been fired from her bank job after her steamy topless photoshoot with her fiancé went viral.
Stephanie, from Texas, was widely praised for promoting body confidence after the pictures of her and her partner Arryn were shared online.
But she now says her employer has sacked her because they believed the shoot was 'inappropriate' for a 'family-oriented' company.
The bank worker, who is five months pregnant, describes herself as a 'model employee' and says the decision by Austin Bank Texas N.A to fire her was 'hurtful'.
Well, I don't know how to feel, perhaps she really should have been more careful of this kind of stuff.
That's silly. Those photos are nearly safe for work. Who cares. How is this an issue? I wonder what would happen if a woman with a different shale had similar photos.

I'm not surprised, but I'm also not outraged. A lot of companies (in Texas or otherwise) don't view that sort of thing kindly.
Social media is not a consequence-free environment. As much as I dislike how people are judged by their employers when they're off the clock and how what they do/say can cost them their jobs, that is the unfortunate reality we're living in right now. And she knew that.
I hope she sues, though, just to see where it goes.

I don't see any grounds for a lawsuit, neither the overweight nor the exhibitionist is a protected class. Texas is an “employment-at-will” state so people may be fired for any reason.
And this is why you don't publicize your personal life with half nude shots all over the internet. It's one thing to do a photo shoot but it's another to post it publicly. You are at the mercy of what your employer deems acceptable or not. They did not find this acceptable. And sue? For what? They can fire you for anything they want that isn't a protected class.
I'm incredulous about this story. We only have the woman's story and since the company won't discuss personnel matter she can say anything. For all we know she sucks at her job and was fired for poor performance.
