How can I get copies of my driving record, previous employment record along with the same background reports employers won?

Also I would like to see my state records. For example
Does my misdemeanor parking ticket that I got in Ohio show up while doing a michigan background check? Is it just a national file?

You need to find something new to worry about. Why not worry about a more likely problem, like maybe some HR drone types in your name wrong it comes back with the record of a serial killer?

You've already been told to stop worrying about the parking ticket. There is no state or national data base of parking tickets. What "state" records do you think you are going to find?

If you want your driving record, go to your state's BMV website and follow the directions.

There is not a national data base that records where everyone has ever worked in their life.

A credit check is used as a tool to help verify times and places.

A typical background investigator is just verifying the information that you provided about employer, dates of employment, etc.

Why the paranoia?

No one is this concerned about a parking ticket. Odds are he has some issue from his past he is hoping will not get noticed.

You're in Canada. Are you speaking of working in Canada or the U.S.?

There are sites on the internet that you can use to run background checks on yourself. They cost. They will explain what checks you can order. They will check only electronic records.

Motor Vehicle Dept records may be online, depending on your state. For Texas, for example, you can look up your official driving record online and even get a certified copy of it.

Texas is easy to look up backgrounds & info on people. Driving record, voter registration, vehicle registration, addresses...all sorts of information. (I used to do checks to find witnesses or verify information...I worked for law firms for years.) Firms usually subscribe to certain services for a flat fee per month or year, but individuals in the public can use some of those sites, as well, for a fee per search.

Parking tickets should be no concern for applying for a job, unless you have a stack of them. I don't think they show up on a background check.
