I'd say of those, Farmer Worker, keeps you in shape and I love agriculture. I was a costume character for 3 year straight and I loved the breaks in between, when I was 16 I was "rich" compared to most of my friends making $10 per hour and we had paid breaks every hour
If I had to take a job for under $10 an hour, I would consider the following:
- Summer Camp Counselor or Before-After School Worker - I was a summer camp counselor for eight straight years and I had a blast. Started off volunteering from 13-15, then I was a paid counselor from 16-18 and by the time I was 19 I was the Assistant Director at day camp facility. My pay started at $5.15 per hour and topped out at about $6.85 per hour
- Gamestop Employee - I enjoy video games, so this seems like it would be a pretty cool job. Seems like things only get hectic when there's a major game release (i.e. Call of Duty, Grant Theft Auto, Madden, etc.)
- Park Ranger/Tour Guide - I'm not sure how much they make, but I definitely wouldn't mind having a park ranger type job. Or having a job taking people on tours of historic places, monuments, etc.
I currently work as a "Nature Interpreter" at a Nature Center (still in college) and I'd have to say it's the best job I've had. Full-time Park Rangers and Naturalist make decent money depending on the park system they're in. I work for a local park system so our pay is pretty much the lowest of the low, but it's a job and it's in my field - can't beat that.
oh there are a bunch of jobs that I would like that pay that amount.
1. cashier at grocery store, or really any other grocery store positions.
2. farming, I would love that - I love being outside.
3. I have a friend who does security at the local baseball games. I would totally do that, or help people find their seats.
4. a number of other retail operations - clothing, best buy, bed bath and beyond, etc.

None of the above, I'd prefer to do something that's at least fun and work at Home Depot or Lowe's and be around tools and lumber. When I was in that situation for a short time I found a better deal, substitute custodian for the school district that paid $16 and you could pick and choose when to work when they had a need.
Let's say you get laid off and the only employment you are able to find are low paying jobs, $10/hr and under. You can't find anything else, but these kinds of jobs seem to be in abundance. What would you choose out of the below jobs? Or come up with your own!
Probably a farm worker. I like being physically active. I have a sit-down job as a result of my chosen career, but if I was taking the pick of what you have above, I'd like being outside and working on a farm. Would remind me of my childhood.
Well, farm worker sounds nice being outside and all...if the weather is great, so no to that one after all.
Some job with the least amount of customer contact. I'm guessing from your list that would be stock room. I'd add warehouse, if you didn't mean Costco - somewhere where you'd be in the midst of customers.
Warehouse would be fun if you get to drive fork lifts around in a warehouse devoid of customers

That would be my choice too........none of the drama of dealing with customers/people.
