Most large companies and government entities also have acceptable use policies where generally playing around on the office computer (going onto forums and dating sites during working hours, etc.) is concerned (as of course they should). And out of those, many have monitoring software installed. The number of people who don't understand this is quite astonishing in this day and age - and they're the first to rise up in righteous indignation when details of their time-wasting and money-wasting activities are brought to their attention. Do a google - some of the stories are hilarious!
PS: And all of this is nothing new - it's been going on for years and the monitoring technology becomes more sophisticated by the day.
