My husband recently got a job in Menomonee Falls. We are trying to find somewhere to rent a house or apartment around that area. I have been looking in Wauwatosa area. The mose important thing to us is the education aspect for our children. We are looking for good schools and diversity. We are a black family so diversity to us means around 5% black population. That would be a good comparison to where we are now. I am having problems finding an affordable apartment/ house around $1200 month. We also need the living place to be senior citizen friendly i.e. minimal steps and a ground floor bedroom. Can anyone help by suggesting a suburb to live in with these characteristics? Thanks for any help.

Wauwatosa or Brown Deer or Glendale or anywhere on the far northwest side of Milwaukee.

I am having a hard time finding a 3 bedroom, 2 1.2 bath apartment or house to rent. We will be there next week to look around. Does anyone have suggestions on places to look or any companies that can help?
