I have lived in Hendersonville all my life. Like anywhere, it has its share of problems, but its not a big city and for the most part the residents are well behaved.
Beware of old people driving far under the speed limit and horribly.
Schools around here are fine.
There is a cheer gym below my house.
The largest problem with drugs around here comes in the form of crystal meth. But those neighborhoods are mostly trailer parks, and they're fairly easy to spot, and are well known to the local law enforcment, who have a severe hard on for these type of people, which I'm glad about because crystal meth ruins lives.
Real estate, however, is out the roof due to rich old people moving here and driving up the prices. So good luck with that.
Oh the other hand, cost of living is relitively low compared to other places.
Plenty of things to do outside, ie, camping, hiking, rivers, parks and lakes.
Please don't litter.
