I would have liked to have seen Ghengis pics of Harpers Ferry. All I get to see are question marks inside a box. If I tap on the box it takes me to some email subscription site called web block.
Went to WV twice in 2016 -- once in the Spring and then because I liked it so much, came back in the Fall. Picked 4 photos at random.
This first image was taken on the road between Elkins and Seneca Rocks. I was driving along in the rain and fog and then all of a sudden I saw this and had to pull over. If you really like fog and mist photos, I recommend spending an overnight at Pipestem Resort State Park and getting up early and heading to one of the overlooks into the Bluestone Gorge in the park as the sun comes up.
The second image is from the beautiful Palatine Park on the Monongahela River in Fairmont.
The 3rd image is Hannibal Dam on the Ohio River. The photo was taken from Hydro Park, New Martinsville on the West Virginia side where you can pull right up to the water and park. You can also park on the Ohio side and that may be of more interest if you want to see the locks but you can't beat the WV side for getting close.
