I'm inquiring for a family member that is in a bad situation, and needs to find a place to stay for a few nights. He's already looked into shelters, but there are no beds available. He has a vehicle and work for a couple days, so his funds are limited. He doesn't mind the quality of the motel. The cheapest I could find was $84 a night in Lantana. This is just using google.

Look west, Belle Glade/ Pahokee and I bet you could get in for 1/2 that Lantana rate

Good idea. His job is in Wellington, so thats not too far, just straight out Southern. I called 3 places. First one was 74(better) a night, the other two didnt even pick up the phone. . .

Yeah, The motel on southern and Royal Palm Beach Blvd. has 80+ units but they never/seldom have a vacancy as they let by the week to temp workers from out of state.
