Rare New Year's Eve 'blue moon' to ring in 2010

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a blue moon. I have often heard the expression, but had no idea what where it came from. Anyway, I hope that everyone will take a peak outside and enjoy it.

Thanks, Jammie, I'll check it out! The other night it was really clear, the moon looked great!

I have a gas fireplace in my livingroom and forunately they put a small window over the mantle because a window was taken out to add it. When the moon rises, I can see it out this high window, so cool!

I saw the moon yesterday, but there'll probably be no moon to see here New Year's Eve.
Calling for 60% chance of snow flurries and overcast skies until tommorow afternoon.

Did anyone see the supposed meteor shower on Dec 13 & 14? We had solid overcast blocking it out both days.

With 3 to 6 inches of rain predicted for the weekend and more to follow next week, it's unlikely I'll see much of anything other than flood notices....Yecch.
