That's crazy cold! Does this happen often during this time of the year?
The high yesterday was 68, and this was observed just after midnight! Temps were in the lower 60s throughout the day. The average is 79, so we're getting the cool weather too.

No, this is unusual and I'm really loving it. Usually we're sweating until about Halloween. It's pouring down rain right now...we've had so much rain in the past few weeks, but we desperately needed it. To me, 55 is not cold. Love, love, love it!! Gosh, after the horrible inferno we get for so many months of the year, this is just so wonderful. I hate southern summers!!

It's a nice chill to the bones after sweating for months on end, but I don't consider it cold (in general) either.
It seems as though most days have been below average this month. In fact, June through now have probably been below average.
