My point is, how the heck could one live in a climate where your freezing your boll*cks off one minute, and then comfortably in your T-Shirt and shorts the next?!

Areas west of Calgary proper (and higher in elevation than the city) are expecting lows of -9 degrees C (16 degrees F) tomorrow night. That's pretty chilly for early September, even for here. Check out the forecast for Cochrane, for example. The presence of abundant snow on the ground can result in impressively cold lows for the time of year, since the relatively warm ground is cut off from the air. Farther east in central Saskatchewan with no snow on the ground, we are expecting relatively tame lows of -2 degrees C (and we are 600 metres lower in elevation).
thats INSANE!! early September...Is it common in September in Calgary?didnt they have like 30c highs last september?
I don't have stats for Canada but meanwhile even Great Falls Montana is 4 weeks earlier than normal with the snow this year.
Current temps. See the Arctic High Pressure dropping down? And see the strong Low heading to Great Lakes. Wind Chills in the 20s in Alberta even into Montana and South Dakota right now.
Haha, 75 (around 24) by Monday... I will never live in Calgary! Unless I'd get a job there that would pay me a million £ a week!!
