A few days ago our local paper had an article that they were repaying some areas who had helped us out a few years ago. I believe they were sending 12 powermen down to Kansas to help out for a while. It's actually harder to go through something like that then the aftermath of a hurricane. There you have the heat to contend with, but in these cases it can be so cold that you HAVE to have a generator or you'd freeze to death.

The only thing we can hope for is that the storm and snowfall amounts are less severe then they're predicting.
