I believe it happened Tues. I don't know much at all about it except that they are using that as an excuse for raising our gas prices 10 cents a gallon. But you answered my question~evidently there isn't much widespread pollution from something like that???? Not to sound dumb, but I figured it'd make some bad air quality for miles around.

27 at noon with freezing drizzle. Summer can wait as long as it wants. I hate the thought of 97 degree days (for 3 months straight) instead of a scattered 27 here and there

Wow, I didn't even know about it, but it explains why gas jumped here 10 cents over night and no there wasn't widespread pollution from it.

Explains why it jumped 37 cents in 2 days here.

Right now we are sitting at 12F with a windchill of 0. Last night I had -20 at my house, and tonight is going to be more of the same. At least the snow has slowed down a little. We are up to 139.7" for the season.

This week-end looks like it is going to be beautiful though. Sunny and in the mid to high 30's.

18F currently with 2 hours of snow/sleet
I think we got around 0.5-1.0 inches of fresh accumulation.
Temperatures for the month will likely be colder than normal here.

OH, you didn't tell us you're going on vacation. I'll bet that does seem pretty warm. Believe me, it's quite a transition to live way up here and go south for a few days during the winter. The temp change going down works for me, but once I get home I'm absolutely freezing.

Right now it's 15 and it feels like 4 here. It doesn't feel that horrible after just coming out of those horrible lows.

I'm so disgusted by the weather here that I've stopped taking my own personal observations for almost a month now.
