Personally the winters are way too cold for me, and despite the very nice looking summer, I must be forced to give this climate a D-. The nice summers and low precipitation saves it from an F. I was really intrigued by this climate though because of it's extreme seasonal variation. I'm sure a lot of people are going to be voting an F for this one!
I say yuk! October there is colder than our coldest winter month, same for April. Summer there is more like Spring, though it only lasts two month. No thanks.
D. Still has 2200 sunshine hours, and has a summer unlike many windswept subantarctic islands.
Spectacular difference between record high and low, over 100C difference, from -64C to 38C.
I think it would be kind of exciting. Maybe not to live there but to visit certainly. Even a 5 min walk outside in Janauary would be like a little adventure. Have to remember to touch your fingers every few minutes just to make sure they are not numb. If they are, well, I always wanted to get one of those voice to text software that allows you to just speak to the computer.
I like the fact that it barely has seasonal lag, and good summer temperatures (frost probably possible though even in the summer). July and December would feel like completely different places though... A D- from me
Negative anything is way out of the question let alone being on the table with a chance of being open for discussion. Big flat NEVER. I'd burst into flames if it was 29 F in July lol.
Would you even feel -84 F? That's totally incomprehensible.
