It's been snowing pretty heavy in University Place all day even though the morning forecast had us transitioning to rain at 11am.

Now raining in Rochester, on top of over a foot of snow.

This is when we start hearing about roof collapses.

Still snowing in Bremerton. That's 8 straight hours of snow. I went out this afternoon to measure the snow in the parking lot and we have 9" of snow. My friend in Pouslbbo had 16" of snow as of yesterday. I have no idea how much more she's getting out of this storm.

I have more pics - sorry about the one on it's side. It was straight when I uploaded it.

Report from the border: all the bragging I did about "not a flake" has come back to bite me on the backside. Yesterday about 5 inches and the power went out at 10 PM and didn't come back on until 7 AM this morning. Today it's snowing again and we have a few inches accumulation - maybe another 4 or 5" so far with no letup in sight. No sign of any plows so I got out and shoveled earlier this afternoon but it's as if I did nothing right now. So I'm doing a bit of cooking in case the power goes out again.

Don’t worry, I have no idea how to do it! Otherwise I would attach pics.

Still snowing here in Sammamish, with another foot over night. Our yard has over 23' in places, and the road has not been plowed, so we're not going anywhere.

Can't even leave the driveway here in Beacon Hill, 2nd day in a row of staying home.

The best thing about all this snow days is being able to watch The Young and the Restless live.

Wow, that's amazing. Way more snow on the ground than just about anywhere in Alaska except Valdez.

It's a record, for us. Telecommuting again, hoping to get to work tomorrow. The bottom of the picture is the walkway that I had cleared yesterday afternoon.
