One thing that makes Tomb Raider better than Uncharted (cartoon, multiplayer, character)

I know that there are many comparisons between Tomb Raider (reboot and beyond) with the Uncharted series.
But I feel like I need to say something overlooked and that is the same thing only the Tomb Raider series have.
And that would be Base Camps. To me, these camps make the TR series better than Uncharted. The camps set the correct mood in almost every situations and events throughout the game. Furthermore, having worked so much with this character, we got to watch her possessions and skills increase like a proud teacher/parent would to his student/their child. Nathan Drake just falls flat emotionally without back stories (which LC also has).
I like Uncharted than the new Tomb Raiders because of the scenery. With Uncharted, there is gorgeous vista, exotic cityscapes, etc. The new TR has cold dreary landscape.
Uncharted 4 is better than any Tomb Raider, IMHO. But we'll see what TR does next, I guess. The next Uncharted (should be the the last one) looks like it'll be great too.
The original Tomb Raiders are actually my favorite. I know a lot of people find them unplayable now, but the original Tomb Raider (1996) is one of the ultimate classics to me.
I like both series, though I have to admit only the last 2 Tomb Raiders really got to me - I like the less cartoony feel, and the gameplay is great.
I also finished all but the last Uncharted games, and I enjoyed them immensely too, though I did not enjoy the shooting mechanics as much as I'd like. From what I heard though, they learned from Lara on this front and now it's just as good, if not better.
I like the pacing of the new Tomb Raider a bit more, with fewer 15 minutes long firefights etc, though I have to admit to something I'd never admit to maybe a year ago, being a single player games fan mostly.. Tomb Raider lacks some sort of multiplayer mode. These missions you get to do besides the main campaign get rather old pretty quick, and from what I saw on youtube, Uncharted is actually quite cool in multi.
Unchartered has better scenery but it's too much of a simple run and gun.
Tomb Raider balances that a little more, though I have yet to play the most recent one.
