I totally and definitely agree with this. I know what gender is to blame for this, especially in America. Its better off people just not communicate at all. Sucks for the kid, he was just being a stupid kid, nothing more nothing less.

Some Canadian lady looked up his address in Texas and reported him to police. He was arrested a month later, and has been in jail since March. He's facing 8 years in prison for making a terrorist threat.

10,000:1 it ends up like the whole Joe Lipari thing.

It was a really stupid thing to say, but I think this is pretty crazy.

And this is why people think Onion Articles are real. Amazing. The amount of trash I talked back when I was gaming, I'd probably be executed... in California.

Freedom of speech doesn't mean you are free to say whatever you want without consequences. Do I think that this kid really meant this as a threat? From what I've read, no. Of course, who knows if we are really getting the full story?

Anyway, the point is that whether you meant it as a joke or not doesn't mean it can't get you into serious trouble.

I think the dumbest part is if it was such a threat why did it take them an entire month to show up at his house to arrest him. The kid was dumb for saying it for sure. Just like all the other trolls that say this kind of stuff in games every single day.
