So. I am on my 2nd to last check, I am getting paid 231 for each week. At the TOP of my claim form it says I am getting paid from August 30th, to September 6th, 231 for both of those weeks.

But, on the bottom, the 2nd week is crossed out!? It says I will have 231 available after this check, but since the 2nd week is crossed off I should have a little over 600.. what is going on?? should I call?

I am very confused because I usually file every 2 weeks, but this one says I should have filed last week.. which never happens?? So wth is going on??

I should be getting paid 462, with one last check of 231 after this.. but the top says I'm getting paid 462, but the 2nd week is crossed out on the bottom... but it still says I'll only have "231" available after this check... Just my luck =/

You should call asap -- You may have missed some claiming week somewhere, or had a penalty amount imposed somewhere and you will simply not get that extra $231.00. I would not bank on that extra funding, so check your finances ! With UI it's always a checks and balances system

Penalty amount? what could cause this? I've never reported wages, never reported refusal of work.. ?

why would the 2nd to last check all of a sudden get screwy?

Thanks for the reply though, cheers.

I wonder if EDD will just pay me the last 2 weeks for my last check?? But the one thing that concerns me is that it shows "231" as my available balance AFTER this check, which would be for 1 week only.

Hopefully Ariadne22 knows. My CalJobs is up-to-date, last time modified showing 7/22/2014. I never reported any wages, or any work/refusal of work. Been getting paid fine for 6 months up until now. I wonder what's up.

This will be your 14th bi-weekly claim submission. Your first biweekly claim paid one week, as the first week was a waiting week. Therefore, your last biweekly claim will also pay only one week.

Count the actual number of weeks' benefits you've received so far. By now, it should be 25.

This is your last biweekly claim which will pay only one week. (26-25=1)

Sorry I am horrible at explaining. I'll try and make it more clear.

My LAST check I recieved (2 weeks ago). Says I have "693 dollars" remaining on the claim.

now this check, with 1 week crossed off, shows I only have 231 dollars left after this check. Last time I checked 231 minus 693 isn't 231. I should still have 462 dollars left..

They just took 231 dollars out with no real reason..Has this happened before? Should I call?

Will they compensate me for that lost week?
