You can make one yourself, by drilling out a hole in the top of both caps, and then supergluing them together.

You might be able to make a squeeze connecter just by wrapping a narrow band of duct tape around both open tops, nice and tight.

But, in fact, there is no need to keep your toothpaste in a tube at all. Just squeeze out enough for the trip into a pill vial, and dip your toothbrush in as needed.
I just keep our regular/daily home use toothpaste and throw it in the travel bag when it gets down to a couple days worth. Ditto for deodorant. I put new toothbrushes in the holder in our bathroom and pack the old ones in the lplastic sleeve the new ones came in.... everything gets pitched when we're leaving the hotel.

I hate that the travel sizes of things are often cost more than I can get the full size for (on sale, or at the commissary, with a coupon..) Shaving cream is often like that!

Another thing that I hate paying for a travel size in is contact solution but decanting it makes me nervous about contamination...

I buy a 2 yard piece of very lightweight fabric. Hopefully it is a cotton/poly blend, and I hem the ends.

It is:
A sarong / beach cover up
a beach towel / ground cloth
table cloth
extra blanket for the airline / train
a huge napkin when you are eating on the train
etc. etc.

Might make a good head scarf it is cold or you travel in a muslim country.

Woolite used to come in little packets--anybody seen it like this recently? Very convenient for trips.

On my backpacking trip around Europe in the 70's, and on subsequent wilderness trips, a old-fashioned bandana was my towel, and sometimes my table cloth.

I either use a sarong or a diving towel for the same things, but the diving towel wouldn't be cool on my head.

I usually carry a headlamp for reading on trains, if the only light in a rented room is ceiling florescent, etc.

Re: toothpaste

I don't know if this is possible for everyone but when I do my 2x yearly cleanings at the dentist they offer me my choice of "freebies" at the end of the visit. I can pick travel sized toothpaste, dental floss, or a toothbrush. I always take two travel sized toothpastes and my husband does the same. I travel often and never have to buy <3 oz. toothpaste.

I always carry a retractable clothesline and a few plastic round clips with me. Very handy to hang clothes after washing in the sink (synthetic dries SO much faster than cotton!), pull together window curtains that gap or hang a towel across non-light proof curtains. The clothesline can be used anytime a lightweight rope is needed.

Really? I get mine at Target where they're usually $0.99.

well, the military commissary charges cost plus (I think) 7% to cover their operating costs. Manufacturers often mark things down even lower, plus offer "commissary only" coupons. I can track the sale cycle at the commissaries online site so I rarely pay over a buck for most personal care items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving creams, etc).
