I was most surprised by the populations of Johnson City, Hendersonville, and Cookeville.

Jackson is the center city of the Jackson TN Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The Jackson MSA includes Madison and Chester counties. (I would expect Gibson and Crockett counties to be added to the MSA within the next few years.)

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. I thought Maryville was twice as big based on traffic. I'm guessing they have a lot of people driving though their town that don't live there. Good info.

Macon and Cannon counties are a long way from Nashville and no one that lives there is going to drive to Nashville to work.
