Holy snikee's Batman, are we getting the winds or what! As usual when a leaf blows on the powerlines, we lose power but last night was pretty wild up here on the mountain. I have seen trees bow over when they were full of leaves and acting like a sail but last night was amazing.

Had to clear some trees and debris this morning as it is still pretty windy out there. My hats off to Volunteer electric who had to brave that weather, top notch folks they have over there.

Hope you all fared well.

Yeah, it was pretty windy here in Nashville at one point last night. I haven't really noticed any tree damage anywhere . . . but then I haven't gone anywhere today (and don't plan to . . . I had enough fun all last week on the highway).

Isn't wicker furniture considered a deadly weapon in Chi town? You may need to check with local ordinances as to whether or not you need a permit for that.

Even up here it's fairly windy. I was just imagining what it's like up on the hills!

Well it is a busy time of year for Santa now. Did you put out a cookie for him?

Winds today around 60 miles an hour, overnight also. Many trees and power lines down. No offense but nothing compares to the windy City, lol.

I took it as that and I am not that one in every crowd. I follow the forum very close in the back ground. Sorry if I offended you.
