Mother wants help, but no part of the helpers

TAMPA — A courtroom full of people who paid off Angel Yulee Adams' debts and found a rent-free, six-bedroom home for her and a dozen of her children waited Monday morning for a sign of gratitude, a clue of cooperation. They waited for a thank you.
They didn't get it. Angel Adams, 37, said she was glad to have the home. But she wanted them all out of her life.

"Sick and tired" is an understatement....I feel sorry for those children, with a role model like that they don't have a chance in the world (and as long as the agencies keep placing them back into her incapable hands they will know no differently). People like her are a major drain on county and state resources that could otherwise be expended on programs that benefit contributing members of society. The best handout someone could give to this woman is an IUD.

Major drain on resources - and I can imagine these children likely growing up to be as unproductive as their mom - and possibly worse (criminals?). Stereotype? Maybe.Truth? Most likely.

In a nutshell! Unfortunately, us taxpayers will be raising the kids (and it's not their fault we are so angry, it's hers)

When I first read this article on tbo.com the other day, I was so mad they closed the post comment section because people need to voice their opinions on it... I cannot believe that people like her still get everything handed to them on silver platter. She's obviously got some mental issues and has the "im owed something" mentality down pat... I just cant believe that they all bent over backwards to help her, she shouldnt have those babies and she definitely shouldnt be able to create any more!!

This is the first I've heard of it (course I don't live in Fl so maybe it hasn't made it's way up here). People like she NOT be allowed to have anymore children - IUD, tube tying, whatever, it should be done. She also should NOT be allowed to keep those kids.

I agree that people like her are a drain on our society and money spent on her could be better used to help those who DO contribute.

People like her make me sick. Sadly, I see people like that everyday in my city.
