I'm considering moving to an apartment in Richmond Place at Bruce b Downs Blvd and Richmond Place Dr (near Highwoods).

Is anyone familiar with this complex? If you've lived there, or still do, any comments? By all appearances, it looks very nice. The management seems very nice as well. I looked at a unit and reallylike the apartment.

Any commnets or thought would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, not familiar with the place, but just to mention that Liang's Bistro (just south of Home Depot) has the best sauteed string beans. Just back in town and might run up for an order. (Get some extra chili sauce on the side.)

I know someone who use to live there (they moved back to NY). They liked it very much. No complaints and coming from her, who complains about every little thing, that says a lot! They keep the grounds nice. The only concern I would have is the construction that is right on your front steps on BB Downs. Who knows how long that will go on for. I have a friend who lives in the houses just a short walk from the apartments. She said she hears the noise at night.

Thanks for the info! Actually, construction noise would not bother me. I currently live near Dale Mabry and Bay to Bay and have heard it all over the past ten years - construction, the loud muffler fad, constant sirens, accidents and the resulting hovering copter overhead, MacDill jets, etc. I was looking more for the quality of the tenants at the apartments.

These apartments went condo several years ago. Most of them did not sell because the bubble burst, so they continue to rent the rest. I don't think you will have a problem with other tenants.

My friend who lives near the apartments feels safe in the area.

Good luck!

It is a very nice area, but lots of traffic. You may want to check out Park Del Mar, just north of Richmond Place.

I was not aware that Richmond Place is still renting, good to know.
