Rapid City sub-forum has been added. You can still read all South Dakota forum threads on one page using the https://www.city-data.com/forum/mergeforums.php?f=45 link near the top of the South Dakota forum main page or you can select forums of your choice and display them on one page using our Subscribed Forums feature.
Yes, since Sioux Falls is the most populous city in the state and there are a lot of information requests for it, it would be beneficial to add a sub forum for them as well.

Sub forums are not added based on town size, nor how pretty they are. A sub forum is based on the amount of posts and people reading about a particular place. Rapid City met that threshold and was added as a Sub-Forum.
I don't know if it was really busy enough to warrant a new section like it would be to add a 'oil field' or 'williston/dickenson' section to the north dakota forum, but whatever.

uh
Hmmm. Seems you have the entire rest of the forum to play in.
Just because there are dividers doesn't stop you from posting. So if you don't work or play in those areas, you don't have to read about them now.
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
