Croats have the tallest team in the tournament why shouln't they use that to their advantage? If Spain really wants to dance with us today we need to play physical. At HT the Croat's will get a call saying ok we go for draw in second half amigo no need for anyone to get hurt.
Well I expect Spain to beat Croatia and Italy to beat Ireland so I think you may be mistaken,. But hey this is football so you never know, who would have thought Greece would be in the 1/4 finals and the Dutch would go home pointless!
Well, I want Italy to qualify for obvious reasons, but I also want Croatia to get eliminated because of their fans (most of you have missed what they were , incessantly, chanting suring the game vs. Italy, unless you know Italian. Moderator cut: off topic remark
However based on how things are going I wouldn't be too surprised if Italy goes home. A) I am not even sure we can beat Ireland, especially by 2+goals, because we have good players, but a very confused team and a coach who is still experimenting...and of course there is the possibility of a draw with goals between Spain and Croatia which would eliminate Italy anyway, so we'll see.
Croatia should have won tonight, they had a stone wall penalty claim turned down. Spain had the most of the ball, that is to be expected, but Croatia had the best chances.
If only for the underdog factor it would have been great to see Croatia advance. Alas, the favorites march onward. Here's to an exciting round of games tomorrow.
