True, though we are seeing mainland Chinese buyers more on the Eastside than Seattle.

You get what you pay for. Vancouver BC is much more livable for Chinese. The food tastes as good as Hong Kong and the enjoyment of many Chinese malls.

That's not saying much. Cantonese food is notoriously bland. Taiwan--that's a different matter!

Ruth, there is a great little hole in the wall Taiwanese place in Wallingford at 43rd and Interlake Ave N called Rocking Wok. I was there today, try it!

The new Vancouver tax certainly is driving Chinese buyers to Seattle, as well as the fact that real estate prices are lower here than Vancouver and the residual effects of this movie (I'm not joking): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finding_Mr._Right
