Nice photos. Actually SF Chinatown is in a slow decline. Most Chinese businesses are in Richmond District or Sunset District 5 miles away. Or Millbrae or Milpitas. I do miss good Chinese food - we live part time in So Cal (Coachella Valley desert) and although great place there are no authentic Chinese restaurants (although plenty of Mexican food) like in Bay Area.

Aw, these photos make me nostalgic and kinda sad. Thanks for posting. When I worked in the financial district decades ago, a few times a year the whole office would chip in and go for dim sum in Chinatown. We'd take a 2 hr lunch, walk up there and walk back.

I like that Chinatown still looks the same.
